About Your Privacy at My Benefit Express™

The security measures that have been incorporated at this website have been instituted to ensure that your personal information remains secure and private. The following controls have been put into place:

The information that you send to our website is always encrypted, using export grade (RC4-Export with 256 bit key, compatible with 40 bit) encryption. We accomplish this by using TLS (Transport Layer Security)/SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), which guards your information from prying eyes on the internet.

SSL is an encryption scheme that is based upon a pair of keys: one is private and the other is public. When you connect to our website the server sends your browser a public key, which your browser then uses to encrypt anything that it sends to our server. Only our server, with the matching private key, can decrypt that transmission.

All of that is automatic and relatively transparent to you. Your browser will tell you that your transmission is secure by displaying either a closed lock or an unbroken key at the bottom of the browser window.

We require each user to log into My Benefit Express™ using their unique username and password. That way, others cannot see your personal information.

Personal information collected by benefitexpress

WEX Health, Inc. uses personal information to provide administrative services for your health and welfare programs. benefitexpress gets this information from your employer or directly from you. This information includes your name, age, address, telephone number, social security number, and other information needed to determine your eligibility for benefits and access to human resource information. WEX Health, Inc. makes sure this information is secure by requiring you to sign in with an assigned username and a private password. We suggest that you change this password to one selected by you. The password may be alpha or numeric and must be between 8 and 12 characters in length. You will sign in with this username and password every time you enter the system. This username and password will allow you to access your account from a computer at either your work or home.

When you visit our website, we also collect data automatically about your Internet Protocol (IP) address, your e-mail address, your benefit elections and information on your use of our website. This information is used to adjust performance and to provide you with more personalized information and choices through My Benefit Express™. If our website links you to another site, you will be notified that you are linking to another site.

Information Security

WEX Health, Inc. employs state-of-the-art security technologies and practices to protect personal information provided to us. All personal information is secured behind firewalls and encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security)/SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technologies on our servers.

In addition, access to information is restricted to WEX Health, Inc. employees and contractors on a "need to know" basis. These employees include WEX Health, Inc.'s service center staff, health and benefit plan administrators, and database administrators. All transactions are logged and reviewed by security staff.

Our employees and contractors are informed of their responsibility to protect your information and are governed by a code of conduct that includes this confidentiality. Appropriate disciplinary policies are in place to help enforce employee privacy responsibilities. Complaints about suspected privacy violations may be made directly to WEX Health, Inc. via e-mail addressed to Privacy@MyBenefitExpress.com.

Information disclosed to third parties

When you select or change your benefit coverage through My Benefit Express™, this information will be transmitted to other parties. Once you've selected benefit plans, WEX Health, Inc. will send to the employer, plan providers and 3^rd parties only the information that is necessary for your health benefit coverage to take effect or to improve WEX Health, Inc. services. Typically, this information is limited to your personally identifiable information and your plan elections, but may also include a number of other benefit and site metrics such as dependent data, the cost of coverage, site usage, etc. WEX Health, Inc. ensures that all vendors and permitted sub-contractors adhere to WEX Health, Inc.'s policies for security and privacy.

You may choose to use WEX Health, Inc. service center staff to help resolve eligibility or claims payment issues. In this instance, you may be required to provide personal health information to WEX Health, Inc.to receive this assistance. This is a voluntary action on your part and requesting assistance authorizes us to receive and share this information with your health care provider and/or the claims payer to resolve the issues. Individually identifiable health information will NOT be provided to your employer except for permitted purposes.

The only time we provide or transmit personal information is at your direction, as necessary for enrollment purposes or as required by law through subpoena, administrative action, or the existence of a clear physical threat. WEX Health, Inc. does not sell, trade, lease or rent our user's personally identifiable information to other companies.

Please remember, however, that any information (including personal and medical information) that you reveal in a public forum (such as a bulletin board, mail list, chat room/event) is not subject to this policy and will be seen by third parties not related to WEX Health, Inc. and may be used by them to contact you or for unauthorized purposes. Also, if you link to a third party site from WEX Health, Inc., any information you reveal on that site is not subject to this policy. You should consult the privacy policies of each site you visit.

About "cookies"

YOU SHOULD BE AWARE THAT ALL E-MAIL YOU RECEIVE AT YOUR PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT MAY RESIDE ON YOUR COMPANY'S E-MAIL SERVER, AND SOME COMPANIES FILTER E-MAIL. CHECK YOUR COMPANY'S POLICY IN THIS REGARD. You can instruct WEX Health, Inc. to send e-mail messages to your home e-mail address, if you have one. You should be aware, that any such e-mail may not be encrypted and confidentiality cannot be assured.

Accessing and correcting your personal data

WEX Health, Inc. is committed to securely maintaining your personal information. In order to protect your privacy, it is important to NOT save your Username and Password on your computer if you are prompted. If you save your Username and Password on your computer, anyone using your computer can access your information.

When you first enroll, you'll need to make sure the information we have is correct. After that, you can confirm your information, at anytime, by reviewing it on our website or calling our Service Center. If demographic information is incorrect you need to contact the appropriate contact at your employer to correct the information. Benefit enrollment information, however, can be changed within My Benefit Express™.

Opt-out provisions

We currently do not allow business partners to communicate directly with My Benefit Express™ users. If in the future, WEX Health, Inc. decides to allow third parties to communicate with our users, we will only deliver those communications to you if you have specifically asked for such communication. If you decide you no longer want such communication, you can discontinue future sharing of this information by notifying us by e-mail at Help@MyBenefitExpress.com or calling us at 1-877-837-5017. If you feel that your privacy rights have been infringed upon, you may contact WEX Health, Inc.'s Privacy Officer at Privacy@MyBenefitExpress.com. Protection for children

We encourage parents, guardians, and other responsible adults to carefully monitor the activities of children on the Internet. Our website is not designed for nor directed at children 13 years of age or younger.
